Construction on the world's largest wildlife crossing begins today. Much safer for cougars and mountain lions. God Bless them. Crews on Friday broke ground on a wildlife crossing over the 101 Freeway in Agoura Hills that is meant to provide mountain lions and other animals a safe route to the Santa Monica Mountains. Billed as the world’s largest wildlife crossing, the bridge will stretch 200 feet over 10 lanes of the busy freeway. If you have any questions, want to share your story of your fur babies, or how can we serve you better in any way, please reach out in the comment section. We want to hear from you. Hundreds of pets either expecting their masters to come home or who were abandoned during the evacuation of various buildings nearby were left to fend for themselves. Tweety Pie was among the lucky 200 animals the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) has rescued since the terrorist attacks, and Kathleen Ross, Tweety Pie's owner, considers herself and her cat very blessed. "All I wanted was my cat," Ross said. "I kept telling them, 'I want my cat. … I've got to see my cat....

The Legacy of 9/11 Dogs By  Mara Bovsun Sep 07, 2022 | 5 Minutes 0 seconds of 29 seconds Volume 0% 00:02 04:05   "Rudolph Tauskey’s Work & Legacy" will play after the ad therapy dogs working dogs k-9s search and rescue detection dogs 9-11 About 300 dog/handler search teams responded to Ground Zero, but only about 100 were prepared for the size of the disaster Most people in the U.S. had never heard of disaster search dogs before 9/11 9/11 also ushered in a new era for therapy dogs  On first glance, this picture, from 2012, is one of unbearable sweetness. Two  Golden Retrievers  are standing together, one with a gray muzzle, the other a puppy, both wearing vests signifying that they are working dogs.
